Part F -- Ventilation Validator;     Build Tight / Ventilate Right

Buildings are now a lot more insulated and airtight, so it is vital that a suitable ventilation system is in place. Habitable rooms require a minimum amount of supply air, extraction and purge ventilation.

The airtightness level determines the correct level of ventilation to comply with current Building Regulations Part F 2019.

We recommend using a more energy efficient mechanical ventilation system such as Continuous Mechanical Extract Ventilation (CMEV) and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR).

Ventilation systems should be designed, installed, balanced & commissioned by competent installers.  They must be independently validated by a competent person who is certified by an independent third party.

We are NSAI Ventilation Validators that publish Validation Certificates and carry out Third Party Independent airflow balancing of Mechanical Ventilation Systems.

Insufficient ventilation systems can lead to mould growth, condensation damage and unhealthy living conditions.
